Documents in the file include a Foreign Office submission entitled "The Present Position of Soviet Policy"; minutes discussing a Soviet press article on workers' movements in Africa; and telegrams from Roberts reporting speeches given by Nikita Khrushchev, the Soviet premier, in which he had discussed the American first strike policy, Yugoslavia, Turkey, and the reasons for his visit to Bulgaria, where he had given the speeches.
