Ex copy has numerous ms. notes by John Gibbon and others in margins and on inserted leaves.
In 1958, numerous leaves were removed and transfered to the Manuscript Division and given the title: Commonplace book material, 17th century (AM 16022). As of January 2014, these leaves have the call number C1286, box 1, folder 31A.

Ex copy is that belonging formerly to John Gibbon (1629-1718) writer on heraldry and genealogy.
